Experiential Therapy

Experiential therapy is therapy that one could consider out of the box! Some treatment modalities that I use in experiential therapy are art therapy, mindfulness and meditation, and guided imagery. Our feelings are sometimes hard to verbalize and are abstract concepts as we cannot touch and feel sadness although each of us is touched by and feels sadness differently and uniquely. Experiential therapy is a great vehicle in which we can explore and process your situations and your emotions. Experiential therapy can be done in session or as homework assignments in between sessions. Experiential therapy is also a great tool for children in therapeutic settings.
